Hello Roboskullers,
Over the last week, we've seen several developments on Roboskull MKII logistics, and here is the very latest ROBOSKULL TRACKER information:
Container #1 (MKIIs) This container arrived at port over the weekend, but has not been cleared by customs. We are trying to acquire details as to why we are experiencing a delay in release, but we have almost no information (1H Hold). The delay could be short, or it could be extended. The very earliest we could see release is 11/15, but it is also possible it could be held into December. We'll let you know as soon as we hear it's been released.
Container #2 (MKII SEs & Flight Stands) This container made it through the Panama Canal three days ago and is headed towards NY/NJ port with an estimated arrival date of 11/15. This means the MKII SE is now very likely to begin delivery ahead of the MKII.
Containers #3 & #4 (additional MKIIs, MKII SEs, Flight Stands) These containers have left the factory and, all things considered, we decided to place both of these containers on ships to California, which will shorten their sea voyage time. We'll truck them from the Los Angeles port to our fulfillment center upon arrival. Roboskulls coast-to-coast!
We are SO PUMPED to get these into your hands, and experiencing a customs delay on MKII container #1 is tough. We've pushed our broker to uncover and correct anything that could be a potential "flag" for US customs, as a hold notification on another container would be disappointing. We will keep you posted as these 4 containers continue to move toward fulfillment!

We attended the 13th Annual Assembly Required GI Joe Convention in Des Moines over the weekend and it was truly special. THANK YOU to everyone who attended the show and to the Codename: Iowa team for somehow ratcheting up the fun yet again! A few highlights:

GI Joe Legend MARK PENNINGTON hand-delivered an amazing piece of Red Shadows art!
Des Moines Legend Steve Kelting created a FULL-SIZED SKELEDRONE using a 3D printer and his amazing skills!
A special "AARONS OF THE UNIVERSE" auction featured custom creations to fundraise for ROMA Collectibles' Aaron Detrick (F*CK CANCER!)
Aaron & Sarah RENEWED WEDDING VOWS at the Friday Night Dinner!
WORDBURGLAR performed a live concert on Saturday Night!
And that's not all! What a show!
In addition to our released 3.75" and 4" Red Shadows figures, we displayed a final production Roboskull MKII along with test shots of 6" Wolf Trooper, Gyre Wolf, Pilot Character Kit, and a 6" Skeletron prototype with deco (painted by Chris Scott of Grindhouse Toys- thank you for joining us at the show Chris!) We also displayed a production set of the BATTLE ACTION FORCE 3-volume DELUXE TREASURY EDITION and it is GORGEOUS!

We hope you had a scary fun Halloween!
Here at SKELETRON, we've learned a scary amount about Sea Freight, Manifests, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Sailing Schedules, Transloading, Dwell Times, Demurrage, and more! But ultimately we want to learn the same thing you do- when will our Roboskulls arrive?
ENTER ROBOSKULL TRACKER
The ROBOSKULL TRACKER image below shows real data that was live and current as of earlier today. Our leading container is now on the East Coast of the United States, but not yet to our New Jersey Port. The latest tracking now estimates this first container will be at our Red Shadows NJ port on November 7th, which is a few days behind the original estimate. Once received at port, our container will need to clear customs and be trucked over to our New Jersey fulfillment center, where our Roboskull MKIIs will be shipped around the world! Our second container (containing MKII SEs and Flight Stands) currently has a Port ETA of November 16th. These dates come directly out of Global Logistics and Shipment Tracking software, though we don't truly know how accurate these estimated dates are. These containers will then be followed by two additional containers that are currently also estimated to land in November.

4" Jungle Wolf Troopers have arrived!
Red Shadows Command has given the order to deploy these troopers in advance of our rapidly approaching ROBOSKULL MKII/MKII SE/Flight Stand arrivals!
If you added the 4" JUNGLE WOLF TROOPER to your BackerKit (or placed a BackerKit pre-order), you should have received (or will receive shortly) a notice from BackerKit regarding Final Address Confirmation. (If you added these in BackerKit and don't receive the email, it has likely been demoted to your Junk/Spam inbox.) This is simply a notification that we'll be shipping a battalion of these camouflaged infiltrators later this week! Please send us your updated shipping address NOW (within 48 hours) if needed. If you haven't moved since you received your last shipment, no action is needed. If you need to update your shipping information, please send us a message, including your new address, through Kickstarter or email us at [email protected]. Also note that updating your address in Kickstarter does not update the shipping address on file in our BackerKit system. The BackerKit system also won't allow backers to make a State or Country address change once phased shipping has commenced, so please send Skeletron your address change, we'll make it, and confirm back to you upon completion. PHASE C | 4" Jungle Wolf Trooper, ROBOSKULL MKII, MKII SE, & Flight Stand With 4" Jungle Wolf Troopers shipping this week, that leaves the BIG RED ONES for Phase C. Our first two containers of ROBOSKULL MKII, MKII SE, and Flight Stands are still on the water, and we do not anticipate any delays once they land here in the USA. Word of the first MKII container landing at port could come on Halloween. The factory is still furiously working away on additional Roboskulls to fill more containers with these spaceships of destruction! Barring an unexpectedly long delay in customs, MKII will begin shipping to Kickstarter backers in November.
PHASE D | 6" Red Shadows figures, Skeletron, Roboknight Heavy Metal Armor Tooling & tooling revision progress is to be occurring concurrently with the continued factory production of Roboskulls, though we have not seen any revised test shots since our last update. We are pushing hard for this production to follow immediately on the heels of the MKII, but based on the current status, it seems clear that we will not be able to put Phase D products into your hands by year-end. We are communicating with the factory, and based on our experience on this project so far, our current estimate is that we'll see 6" figure SKUs shipped from China before Chinese New Year, with some SKUs that will not complete until sometime afterwards. Thank you to our 6" fans for their patience as they've watched everything else roll-out from the factory. We'll continue to update monthly (or more) with progress.

October Strike

Hello Roboskullers,
You may have seen today's news headlines and read about the US labor strike that began earlier today at ports across the Eastern United States. We've been asked if this historic shutdown (the first in nearly 50 years) will have an impact on our upcoming Roboskull MKII delivery. At this point, the answer is unclear. If the strike ends very quickly, congestion may clear quickly. If the strike goes on for weeks, then it seems likely that our Red Shadows containers will be delayed on their journey to our New Jersey fulfillment center. The current status of our containers that have departed the factory is as follows:
Container with 4" Jungle Wolf Troopers (along with figures from other toymaker friends) is at port in New Jersey, but was flagged (seemingly at random) by US customs for inspection. We do not have an estimated date on when an exam will be conducted, nor is their clarity at this time on how this exam might interplay with the current strike.
Container with ROBOSKULL MKII is currently on the water, headed towards the Port of New York and New Jersey.
Container with ROBOSKULL MKII SE & Elite Flight Stand is also currently on the water, headed for the Port of New York and New Jersey.
The path for these three containers is set, and we must simply wait and see how the strike unfolds.
A quantity of Roboskull MKII, small quantity of Roboskull MKII SE, and an even smaller quantity of Elite Flight Stands has not yet departed the factory. The factory is on holiday at present, but we are already working with our logistics team to explore a plan for West Coast container deliveries and cross-country freight for the balance of this product.
We'll keep you updated as we gain clarity on this situation, and we're sorry we have this additional wrinkle in our long journey.
In other news, we received a test shot from the all-new Roboknight Heavy Metal Armor mold and it looks excellent! We need to make one small adjustment, which will then allow us to move forward with production.
Lastly, we want to bring the HYPE for Codename: Iowa'sASSEMBLY REQUIRED show, coming next month! Panel discussions, multiple vendors, customs classes, contests, prize giveaways, and special guests await you — including the man behind much of the G.I. Joe mythology and our Guest of Honor, Larry Hama!
GI Joe Legends Mark Pennington and Ron Wagner will also be in attendance! We're beyond thrilled that our I GET TO DRIVE IT co-conspirator WORDBURGLAR is coming down to give a special performance!

Date: September 15, 2024 Subject: ROBOSKULL MKII - New Intel Acquired Classification: TOP SECRET
Surveillance Summary: Earlier today, covert operations captured visual data from an undisclosed location in China, which has confirmed that mass quantities of ROBOSKULL MKII units are complete and in transit. Visual evidence suggests that approximately 1,000 MKII units departed Red Shadows’ secret factory today, with thousands more of the deadly craft inside to be very soon loaded into additional storage containers and begin their ocean voyage. Sources also indicate that MKII units are departing in pristine condition after passing rigorous inspection.
